Tender Beast

P A I N T I N G S

When we were beasts…

Life was so innocent before the Ice Age.

You were born furry, grew a tail, made your den, raised your cubs, and tried to domesticate other beasts. You ate or got eaten. And when you ate someone (your brother, for example), you did it with love and respect. When you finished your meal, you stopped for a moment and listened to the magical voice of Nature.

And after the evolution did its dirty job, Homo Sapiens can’t hear it anymore, not even with their big, glorious brains.
